If you get asked to work on a booze or cigarette account, you can now do so with a clear conscience, because apparently advertising is off the hook when it comes to driving people to drink and cigarettes. The real reason it would seem is stress! And up near the top of the stress inducing list are… Automated call centers, mobile phones and crashing computers. A recent survey in the UK showed more than a third of men and a quarter of women have a drink to cope with stress. And of the 1,000 people polled, 27% of men and 23% of women said they would light up a cigarette in such situations. Almost one third said IT-related problems were a major source of stress. So, there you have it. Next time your computer crashes, or you get caught in phone menu hell, you can get drunk and smell like an ashtray. If your co-workers complain, blame it on your PC.![]()
The mouse on my PC drove me to it!

Most definitely.
Of course, your PC breaking completely under the weight of viruses and trojans just minutes after the cd writer span and scratched up your most recent backup copy after Norton decided to deactivate itself instead of giving us any opportunity to continue our payments leading to the influx of stupid spam and crappy emails installing rubbish without us realising we werent protected and then being forced to spend an entire day deleting the stuff and fixing it...*breath*...is pretty stressful.
