According to TNS Media Intelligence, Anheuser-Busch, a 20-year advertiser in the Super Bowl, will now be the biggest ever Super Bowl advertiser at $230.5 million. And don’t forget, that’s just for the Super Bowl, they must spend another half billion during the rest of the year… All to make morons around the country run about yelling “Waaasssup?” to each other. I wonder if all the Bud Light drinkers realize it’s just regular Bud with water added. Why not buy a Bud, ask for a glass of water then mix them. That way you get two drinks for the price of one! What’s even funnier is that none of them realize that unlike real beer, which is made with barley, Bud is made with rice because it’s cheaper (If you don’t believe me, read the label) So, you may as well drink sake… Waaassssup?”![]()
Welcome to St Louis, Mo. Home of Budweiser!

re: your Bud piece / You don't mean $230+ million on the super bowl do you?
At about $2.2 million or so per :30, 10 spots (five minutes) should come in at or near $22 or $23 million, not $230 million. What am I missing here?
