Remember Ben Curtis the “Dell Dude” of three years ago? This was the guy who used to annoy the crap out of me in those inane TV spots that seemed to be aimed at brain-dead buyers of PC’s. Dell finally pulled the plug on him after New York’s finest picked him up in the East Village trying to buy a very small bag of Marijuana at two-o-clock in the morning. Best part though was that at the time of his arrest he was wearing a kilt!!! What was that all about? Then, remember Apple spokesaddict Ellen Feiss. She was great. She came across as the biggest “stoner” on the face of the planet. Both featured in campaigns about the same time. Both had fan clubs and Web sites. Neither of which exist anymore. Ah, how fleeting is fame. Wonder if anyone will remember Paris in a few years?
