As an enthusiastic user of Skype for the last year or so, I was particularly pleased to read an item in today’s bizreport.com that unlike other Internet voice services, Skype calls are encrypted. That apparently makes them impossible to snoop on, though the company leaves the issue somewhat open to question if you are completing the call through a regular land line. So, the next time someone wants to listen in to your phone calls, after they’ve finished finding out what books you currently have checked out from the public library and what color knickers your wife is wearing today, use Skype, and make sure the entire call is VOIP. That way, we’ll all be sure we have done whatever’s necessary to keep the bad guys at bay!![]()
Look at me... Look at ME... For crying out loud!
