Loved this in a recent edition of BrandWeek. Apparently a company called Grat-Z is in the business of making envelopes especially made for tipping. They’ve now introduced the Grat-Pack, a package of 12 envelopes, a record-keeping section, and a list of “useful tipping guidelines.” Hey, as far as I remember, you give a tip if you think it’s deserved. Like the last time I was in a very expensive Italian restaurant in SoHo and had one of the worst meals of my life. When I complained, the manager freaked out, and when I left without leaving any tip, the chef chased me down the street with a meet cleaver! I don’t need tipping guidelines in a situation like that, just running shoes.![]()
Did you forget something Sir?
