
Why am I not impressed to read that Jackie Woodward, VP-global brand business for McDonald’s Corp., is heading to Miller Brewing Co. as VP-media and sponsorship, and that her appointment may delay a decision in Miller’s $240 million media review? Maybe because when someone responsible for the current sorry state of junk food advertising is about to do the same thing for junk beer advertising, I say, “So-What?” Particularly when you consider she was to blame for Mickey D’s Olympic awfulness; its “McKids” children’s merchandise relaunch and the global re-creation of Ronald McDonald as the company’s so-called “Chief Happiness Officer!” I can’t wait what she does with the infamous Miller Lite, Lesbian mud wrestlers!![]()
