Why do I often wonder if the vast majority of people who work in advertising were dropped off by aliens a few millions of years ago? Perhaps today’s news that Foote Cone & Belding has hired Kim Hunt as director of new business development for its headquarters office here had something to do with it. Hunt will report to FCB New York president and CEO Steve Centrillo, who, in a statement, praised Hunt's relationships with agency search consultants, saying, "We are excited about Kim's arrival at FCB and believe that her experience, coupled with her infectious enthusiasm for new business, will make an immediate contribution to our agency." Wow, Steverino. Way to go!!! Don’t talk to prospective clients; grease the palms of scumbag agency search consultants. Which is kinda like politicians playing golf with the people on K Street! But, not to worry. In a full disclosure statement, Hunt said, "FCB is embarking on one of the most exciting times in its history. With a brilliant new management team in place and a 'full-contact' approach that's unlike any other in this industry, there's no agency I'd rather be a part of." Kim, I couldn’t have put it any better myself. Well, actually, I could. But, you’d have to be flying me off for a few rounds of all expenses paid golf at St Andrews, courtesy of the “Brilliant Management Team” at FCB. ![]()
My name is Kim. I belive you are hunting for me!

interesting that Steverino would tap a pretty young lady from Atlanta for a NY New Biz Dev job... my guess is that she will soon realize that this new management teams' "full contact approach" is not much different from the rest of the guys out there.
