I know I only posted on this a couple of days ago on the 23rd, but I still can’t get over McCann beating out HP roster shops, Omnicom Group’s Goodby Silverstein & Partners and Publicis Groupe’s Publicis Worldwide, to win the regional creative advertising duties for HP’s Personal Systems Group in the U.S. as well as Europe, Middle East and Africa. McCann won the business because of its strong global network as well as “chemistry between the agency and the personal systems group,” an HP spokeswoman said. Well, all I can say is if it’s the same chemistry that’s responsible for the awful work on Intel and Microsoft, HP deserves everything it’s going to get. But then again, didn’t they once describe “Queen Carly” as having the chemistry necessary to revitalize a once great company and put it on the path to prosperity? Hmmm… So much for chemistry.![]()
I can't wait to get in the lab with all those groovy agency people and create really stinky ads together!
