All of a sudden the 419’ers are back at it with a vengeance… Just in case you’ve had your email turned off for a couple of years, the 419’ers are the lads from Lagos, Nigeria who seem to spend all their time filling the inboxes of people like me with offers to share millions in unclaimed funds from people who’ve died in various plane/train/ship wrecks without leaving any next of kin. All you have to do is send them your bank account information and they’ll pop a check in the mail for the aforementioned millions. Of course the money never arrives. But strangely enough people still seem to be falling for this well publicized load of baloney! I haven’t received any of this spam for months, then in the last two days I’ve had about thirty from addresses all over the world. Maybe it’s got something to do with sunspot cycles. Anyway, just send me all you bank account information and the check will be in the mail!
