News that H&R Block has opted to keep its $100 million account at incumbent Campbell Mithun following a three-month review shouldn’t come as a big surprise, what with all the problems and bad publicity they’ve been getting of late. What I don’t understand is why they did a review in the first place. I mean apart from the aforementioned crap they’ve been going through, why would they hold a review of a couple dozen agencies with four finalists… In the middle of what must be their busiest time of the year? But then again, if that’s the way they run their business, no wonder they’re in so much trouble!
