OK… Suds drinkers stand by… The Coors Silver Bullet Train rolls in the cold for real Friday, when the mobile marketing vehicle for Coors Light travels to 15 markets during the next six months, starting in Los Angeles. But there’s good and bad news. Let’s get the bad out of the way first… It’s not really a train, it’s a giant truck… The vehicle is actually a 19-ton stretch tractor chassis with a pup trailer that looks like the Silver Bullet Train featured in ads by Foote Cone & Belding, Chicago. It is outfitted with an authentic train horn and belches steam from its undercarriage, the company said in a statement. The second piece of bad news is… It’s not really a beer. ‘Cos bud light is a wimpy faux beer that is made by brewing real beer, well as close to real beer as you can get and have a Coors label on it… Then they add a ton of water and call it a “Light Beer.” The good news is… There is no good news!! ![]()
This is not a real train. But, then again, this is not a real beer!!!
