Why do I never cease to be amazed by the repetitious stupidity of the Silicon Valley Digerati Dufuses? Today’s announcement that Sun has appointed Jonathan Schwartz as CEO is about time, as Scott McNealy has been screwing up the company he co-founded for far too long. But here’s the best bit… In the PR release they say “Scott will continue serving as chairman of the board and a full time employee, devoted to expanding market opportunities for Sun around the globe. Which basically is PR FlackSpeak for “Nothing’s going to change!” We’re also told that McNealy will focus his efforts on Sun's government and academic relationships globally, as well as expand his role with key strategic partner relationships. He will also assume the role of Chairman of Sun Federal Inc., which focuses on U.S. government business. So he’s going to be a Double-Chairman and will probably continue to be responsible for their abysmal advertising. A word of warning Scott, don’t bring back your dog, Larry might shoot it!
Hi, I used to be in all Scott's ads. Then Scott realized that was a dumb idea. Now he just runs dumb ads. But at least, I'm not in them!
