There’s a very funny piece on The Register about a new piece of research on Internet usage, that as they so profoundly put it… “Should win a Nobel Prize in the category of the Blindingly Obvious!” Conducted by PhD student Gilad Mishne, it reveals that people drink more on weekends… Use words like “Love” more around Valentines day and there is a big spike in the use of words like “Harry… Potter… and Book” on the days that the new Harry Potter books are published! It’s very funny and well worth reading as it does point out how obvious and stupid some of this stuff is. I’m only surprised that Mr. Mishne is studying for a PhD and not an MBA!![]()
When I graduate, I'm going to work in an ad agency and make life hell for creatives!
