
Funny to read in this weeks AdWeek that Paris Hilton won the “Grand Ugly” for her Carl’s Junior car washing spot at the Advertising Women of New York’s “Good, Bad and Ugly Awards” show. As usual, other winners included beer ads, men’s aftershave ads and annual winner GoDaddy’s Super Bowl spot featuring ladies with large breasts which cause repeated “wardrobe malfunctions!” Don’t the Ad Lady’s of NYC know that 99% of BDA’s (Big Dumb Agencies) are run by BDM’s (Big Dumb Men) who would run the world’s most juvenile and offensive advertising if it made the client happy? Actually, when it comes to agency management, that applies, irrespective of gender!![]()
I remember when all ad agencies were run by women.
