News today on MSNBC that you can now have your face featured on a McDonald's drink cup or a greasy burger bag if you feel the urge to let 50 million people know this is the reason you’ve put on 50 pounds in the last year. McDonalds announced what it called an online casting call to give giving customers a chance to be featured on its packaging. Winners will be chosen at mcdglobalcasting.com, where hopefuls must submit a personal story of what they love about one of the world’s worst foods, in 100 words or less, along with a digital photo illustrating their story. I guess zits, vomit and expanding waistlines are excluded. It's all part of McDonald's ubiquitous "I'm lovin' it" advertising campaign. "Our first online global casting call uses technology in a new approach to bring the energy and spirit of 'I'm lovin' it' to life by connecting with consumers and giving them a stage on which to express themselves about the things they love," said Mary Dillon, McDonald's global chief marketing officer. Well put Mary… What’s the first prize… Free bypass surgery?![]()
Could I get extra fries and onion rings with that?
