In common with a great many other companies of late, it would seem Computer Associates is having to restate its most recent results. Something about expecting a loss rather than the forecast profit. This is a company that has been in financial turmoil for years. Perhaps their awful advertising had something to do with it! They used to run ads in all the IT press that managed to pack in more screen shots per square inch than anyone out there. Meantime, management was buying Hockey teams and luxury condos all over the place. Several are now facing major jail time. I would give ‘em life just for their abysmal ads!
They never ran ads like that here in the States!
