In the past I’ve commented on the dumb things that happen in the name of “Gorilla Marketing.” Idiots walking around Chicago wearing giant dinosaur mask to promote Microsoft Office as part of the dreadful campaign from McCann. Midgets dressed as chefs invading BA flights to promote Virgin Airway’s new food service. Now it would seem New York, Chicago and San Francisco will be “invaded” by people painted head-to-toe in bright colors. It’s all part of a promotion for the new Jose Cuervo Flavored Tequilas. Folks painted top to bottom in bright blue, green, and orange, will be out and about touting Cuervo’s Citrico, Oranjo, and Tropina flavors. Cuervo has dubbed the event “National Flavors Day.” I prefer “National Stupid Day.” Has anyone ever been able to prove that crap like this actually works?![]()
What's wrong... Ya never seen colored tequila before?
