Remember when I posted a couple of weeks ago about the 419’ers? These are the guys from Nigeria that want your bank information so they can transfer millions into your account! It now seems they’ve moved into the property rental market in London. There’s a very funny piece on the “Register” about it, complete with picture of the apartment they are offering at a very low rental (for the usual bank information.) But as the pictures in the email prove, the flat cannot be in London, as all the power outlets are European. And as you know, we Brits always do things differently from the “Euro’s.” The best part is the final line of the email that asks the recipient to “please remember my grandmother in your prayers, I do not want to see her die now.” You just know “Grandma” is a thirty year old bloke driving around Lagos in a Mercedes!
All I did was plug the kettle in!
