I have to own up that after working on most of the major Business Consulting accounts over the last twenty years or so, I am somewhat under whelmed by what they actually bring to the table to justify their enormous fees. Further proof of this with this week’s announcement from McKinsey & Company that after a study of 700 manufacturers in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States they have confirmed that there is a link between good management and superior performance!!! Mind blowing stuff, and no doubt worth the tens of thousands of dollars they will charge anyone dumb enough to buy this breakthrough in management boloney-speak. No wonder that for many years I always assumed MBA was short for “More Bulls*** Anyone.” Actually, I still do!![]()
Oh... So that's what it means!

True, but that said; look at the results of a survey by AXA.
Only 3% of SME owners rated bad management as a significant cause of business failure.
Thats ludicrous!
