There’s a piece in today’s AdWeek that mystifies me… It would seem that Publicis Groupe's Saatchi & Saatchi has eliminated about 15 jobs at its 500-person New York headquarters The 3 percent staff cut was achieved via layoffs and closing out vacant jobs, said sources. The move is designed to bring costs in line with revenue and Saatchi plans to use some of savings to reinvest in new service offerings, according to sources. My question is… Why on earth would you publicize this? 15 out of 500 is nothing. They probably lose more than that in Manhattan traffic accidents every week. ![]()
Saatchi transferred me to the Kabul office instead of laying me off... Thanks guys!
