I can’t wait to see the ads on this… Nike and Apple have partnered to create a line of Nike+iPod products, the first of which is the Sport Kit, a wireless system that allows communication between Nike+ footwear and iPods via an in-shoe sensor and a receiver attached to an iPod. The Sport Kit will provide users with information on time, distance, calories burned and pace - stored in and displayed on the iPod screen. Real-time audible feedback also is provided through headphones. Does this mean your shoes are now going to talk to you? Will they complain if you’re running too far or fast? Will they bug you if you’re not running far or fast enough? Will your shoes be able to talk to other shoes? Will the NSA have everyone’s shoe records? What happens when your shoes wear out and you try to throw them away… Will they tell your partner’s shoes what you were really up to when you went for that extra long run last week?![]()
I can't hear you very well... I'm in the "Cone of Silence."
