With the news today that anyone whose phone service is provided by AT&T Inc., Verizon Communications Inc. and BellSouth Corp., is now considered a member of al-Qaida. And these three companies are actively engaged in letting the government know every call you make, I am glad to report that my phone company, ”Qwest Communications International Inc. has refused to help the NSA program. According to news reports, Qwest, with 14 million customers in the Western United States, was “uneasy about the legal implications of handing over customer information to the government without warrants.” Good for them. Makes me glad I used to do all their brand advertising. You can see it on my Web site. And as providers of my DSL Internet service, their technical support is the best in the business. Good company!
