Advertising, ad campaigns, ad agencies, and the people that make it happen

Apparently, in a great promotional coup, Alaska Airlines is claiming that it is the first airline in the world to add the Red Bull Energy Drink to its regular in-flight beverage selection. Now having done some work with these folks in the past for a skate board tie-in that involved people leaping off tall buildings etc… I can tell you that these guys are specialists in what are called extreme sports… No, not that wussies X-Games stuff you see on ESPN, I’m talking about people base jumping of El Cap, or going over Niagara Falls on a trash can lid… All the while, slurping their Red Bull. So, all I can say is… Alaska better make sure those exit doors are firmly closed at 35,000 feet in case someone OD’s on the Red Bull!
