In the “Now I’ve heard everything column” check off BabyFirstTV, launched on DirecTV yesterday and aimed at toddlers and parents. This channel will be carrying programming aimed at children under the age of three!!! Apparently programs are color coded to indicate the educational value including shows like "I Can Sign!', where parents can learn sign language with their children, and 'Colour Symphony' to help babies fall asleep. To help promote the growth in childhood obesity, BabyFirstTV has indicated it will only accept advertising from fast food, soft drink and candy manufacturers. It does however point out that its content is closely monitored by experts including child psychologists, pediatricians and Ronald McDonald.
When you grow up you can be as ugly as your parents!
