
I have to admit having been a bit skeptical about all the fuss going about advertising potential in the gaming world. You know car chases that pass in-game billboards for Pepsi and so on. I assumed that the players of these things might get a bit miffed if the ads came thick and heavy while they’re trying to slay the XanduBeast and get to the next level of Incandescence, or whatever it is they do. But with the news that Microsoft might spend $400m buying Massive, a New York-based games advertising firm, who knows what the potential could be? Billy wouldn’t be making an investment of that size if he didn’t think it had real potential… We shall see!![]()
