Remember in the movie “Blade Runner,” there were TV images everywhere. On buildings, balloons. cars etc? Well an outfit in Dallas, called “Gas Station TV,” is going to provide digital broadcasts on LCD-equipped fuel pumps and has just signed a deal to deliver ABC TV content to lucky Texans as they wait at the pump. I guess it only makes sense in the state of Texas as everyone there drives Hummers and other assorted gas guzzlers, so it takes half an hour to fill up. Enough time to watch a rerun of Will & Grace while you pick up a six pack and a bag of grits. Gotta hand it to those Texans. What'll they think of next, cleaning windshields?
