
So Gap is getting back into advertising after a six month hiatus. From what I’ve read in the trades, I wonder why they’re bothering. The merchandise is going back to basics… Denim and tee shirts, the ads will feature minor celebrities instead of the big names they’ve had in the past, like Sarah Jessica Parker. And they’ll change the windows every month instead of every other month. Wow, all I can say is I’m blown away. Next time I need a pair of jeans or a tee shirt, there’s only one place to go. After all there’s not very much of that kind of stuff around, is there?![]()
Better get down to the Gap before all this exciting stuff sells out!
