It would seem Motorola has been drinking the Kool-Aid of its heavy users. i.e. Text-messaging obsessed teenagers. How else can one explain its penchant for removing vowels from what would otherwise be perfectly functional device names? Case in point their two new handsets “Krzr” and “Rizr” presented at the opening of its annual stock analyst conference last night. The latest additions to the company's wildly popular Razr portfolio, the Rizr and the entirely vowelless Krzr (pronounced CRAY-zer.) Both are similar in design to the ultra-thin phone; both more technically rich. The Krzr is made of magnesium, polished chrome and hardened glass, it's equipped with an integrated music player, a 2-megapixel camera with an 8X zoom lens and 1 gigabyte of removable storage. Sound like a winner? Analysts seem to think so. "They're definitely very pretty and that’s all that matters," says one! In other words all that gizmofreako stuff is fine, but would you be likely to see Paris Hilton using one? Mmmmm… Dunno!!!![]()
Hello... Hello... I think my Rizr has gone Krzr on me!!!
