Steve Wozniak has finally got around to writing his autobiography. He's releasing it in September: IWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon: How I Invented the Personal Computer, Co-Founded Apple, and Had Fun Doing It, which he co-wrote with author and journalist Gina Smith. I’ve always admired “Woz” ‘cos he seems to enjoy his money. I lived near him in California, and his huge house was more like a geek theme park for kids than most people’s idea of a home. But I’m sure his kids loved it. Quite a difference from his co-founder partner from the early Apple days, Steve Jobs, who apparently declined to write the forward to his book, saying that it kind of made Woz look like some kind of a good, pure guy and Steve sort of a bad guy. To which I reply… So? Anyone who’s had any dealings with them over the years would say that’s a pretty accurate description of their respective characters!
Yeah... I was an evil dude... And guess what? I still am!
