No wonder Sergey and Larry can buy Boeing 767’s, they could probably buy Boeing with the loose change at the back of their couch. Because, increasingly, it's Google's world. They announced three humungous deals in the last few weeks. A content distribution partnership with the Associated Press, a video clip syndication partnership with Viacom, and the announcement that it would be the exclusive search provider for News Corp. and MySpace. And that one is, without question the biggest deal of the three. With MySpace the last really big and potentially lucrative search partner to be up for grabs in the foreseeable future. Apparently, there will now be a Google search box on every MySpace page. Google's 800 pound gorilla is turning into an 800 ton one with Yahoo, Ask and MSN continually spending dumpster loads of money to keep up. Meanwhile, Google continues to grow its market share while making more money per search than its competitors. ![]()
