
Well, actually, the Government Accountability Office, which has just finished a probe of the White House's anti-drug media campaign and has found that the $1 billion-plus spent on the effort so far has not been effective in reducing teen drug use. The report recommends that Congress limit funding until the Office of National Drug Control Policy "provides credible evidence of a media campaign approach that effectively prevents and curtails youth drug use." Ouch… Still anyone with half a brain, or whatever’s left after too much crack, could tell you that the obtuse TV spots produced by the Mad Ave Adverati would have no effect on addicts. They don’t watch TV. They sold the set long ago to buy more junk!![]()
