
AdWeek reports today that Fox Filmed Entertainment has launched a monster review to consolidate global media chores for the studio's theatrical and home entertainment enterprises. The process will be managed by search consultancy Select Resources International. With an estimated overall annual budget of $1.1 billion, about $750 million of which is spent in U.S. media, the sharks are really going to start circling this one. Tens of thousands of dollars will be expended to snag this prize. Of course the dozen or so losers will be heavily out of pocket. But in typical BDA fashion, existing client's bills will be “enhanced” to cover some of those wasted dollars. One consolation for the losers… They won’t have to deal with the “Wizened of Oz,” Emperor of the “Fair and Balanced” Universe!![]()
