Hey, I just got another email from AdAge inviting me to another of their wonderful conferences. Having declined their last one, which for a few hundred dollars, allowed me to listen for three hours to a bunch of people I wouldn’t cross the room to say hello to. Because they were going to put me in the picture about how to sell to “Lads.” You know, the ones obsessed with cars, sports, booze and sex, not necessarily in that order. Today’s invite is about making branded entertainment work, and is from Madison + Vine. For another $300 dollars, for three hours, I can listen to a bunch of people who… Well, you know the rest. Oh, and they’re going to talk about cars, Sport, fast food, and I’m pretty sure they’ll work sex in there somehow. Think I’ll pass… Again.
