Yet another beer account is on the move with the news that Miller is splitting with Wieden & Kennedy ending a ten year relationship. W&K had recently been agency of record for Miller High Life and was responsible for the deep-voiced High Life Man campaign that boosted the brand's slumping sales from 1998 through 2003, but then saw them start to nose dive again. Miller asked Wieden to give the beer a feminine feel in line with its age old "Champagne of Beers" line, so they came up with the lame "Girl in the Moon" campaign that was soon hit on the head. Now the unenviable task of trying to resuscitate what seems more and more like a dying brand goes to Crispin Porter & Bogusky, which is currently responsible for the appalling Miller Lite “Mans Law” campaign. I guess that means we can now look forward to a “Woman’s Law” campaign hosted by Burt Reynolds in drag!![]()
And a plastic surgeon for me!
