Have you tried the new “Archive” section on Google online news index yet? It only started this week and I have to say, I’m pretty darned impressed. The news archive includes old articles provided by a long list of media, including New York Times Co.'s (NYT) The New York Times, Dow Jones & Co.'s (DJ) The Wall Street Journal, Time Warner Inc.'s (TWX) Time magazine and Washington Post Co.'s (WPO) The Washington Post. Other leading information storehouses like LexisNexis, Factiva and HighBeam, also have opened up sections of their databases to Google's expanded index. Dow Jones is co-owner with Reuters Group PLC (RTRSY) of Factiva. Dow Jones is also publisher of Dow Jones Newswires. I used it yesterday on some research I’m doing on my next book (Yeah, I’ve started already) I needed stories from the late fifties on a specific subject. A simple entry, and I had a ton of stuff come up. Very useful, highly recommended.![]()
Yeah... It's probably in there!
