Put this one in the “weird” column. Apparently ABC is employing actors as part of a viral campaign that's promoting its recently launched show Six Degrees. Presentable looking young people are slipping handwritten notes to people in public places, inviting them to contact them online. Such memorable prose as… "Remember me? Get in touch. - Steven" and an email address. When you go to the address you’re then redirected to u-r-connected.com. After lots of automated replies, I suppose the idea is to get you to watch the show. All sounds a bit creepy to me, particularly as most of this activity is taking place on New York Subway cars. Not the environment I want to be in to get weird notes from complete strangers. ![]()
Hey, you never know who you might meet on the subway!
