It was announced today that YouTube will cut 30,000 illegal clips from its website after Japanese media companies said their copyright was being infringed. The Japan Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers found 29,549 music video, movie and TV clips had been posted without permission. OK, some will say that out of the 100 million clips per day that various Dufuses watch every twenty four hours, this is a minuscule proportion. I say, this is just the beginning. But hey, I’ve been wrong before, like the time I was invited to buy stock in a start up company by the name of Xerox for five cents a share. Or the time when I had the chance to invest in the voyage of this guy who wanted to sail across the flat earth, by the name of Christopher Columbus! ![]()
OK AdHurl. These are my five cent shares of Xerox I bought in 1491. They are now worth billions of dubloons. Of course, compared to Google stock, that's peanuts!
