What I love about the news of Coca Cola’s new drink, Enviga, is the claim that if you drink three cans you could lose an average of 106 calories. Wow!!! This is the promise Coca-Cola is making in regards to its new line of sparkling green teas launching next month. The beverage, created in association with Nestle, has been a long time coming as word about such an offering began to leak out more than a year ago. However, Coke wanted to generate enough evidence to support its claims, as skeptics are likely to abound. Yeah, like me. Isn’t 106 calories about what you would consume if you ate half a cracker? Plus there’s no knowing what other kind of junk is in there, ‘til you get a chance to read about all the chemicals on the mandatory ingredients label. Still, if people continue to buy watered down “Lite” beer on the promise that it’s “Less Filling.” I guess you can convince the 30% of the population which is currently classified as obese that drinking Enviga while consuming a couple of pizzas constitutes a healthy diet.![]()
That Enviga stuff is awesome!

George I am a little slow reading through all of the wisdom however this little bit of news I find interesting, since it's old like I am.
This morning I noticed the green stuff I threw in the compost pile a few weeks ago smelled like the horse lot this morning. If this new Coke has a taste like most of the other new drinks of the like I know where I'll dump it.
