
I know I go on a bit about “New Media,” particularly when I see multi-billionaires shelling out multi-billions for things like MySpace, then commencing to destroy what it was that made them attractive in the first place. That’s why I am looking forward to the day when some idiot pays a billion or so for YouTube. And don’t worry, someone will. Which is when the lawyers will start coming out of the woodwork to hammer the new owner with all kinds of copyright infringement lawsuits. ‘Cos even though there’s a lot of home made junk on there right now, an awful lot of it is ripped off from heavily copyrighted material. Remember what happened to Napster? Should be interesting. ![]()
