Remember my post of yesterday about the pathetic state of Network TV news, and NBC news in particular? Well, surprise, surprise, they are about to lay off 600 or 700 employees from the news service! To which I have to ask myself… What news service? I mean c’mon if “World News Tonight” actually lasts for all of eighteen minutes, and is basically medical BS to support all the pharmaceutical ads people have to suffer through while eating their microwaved fish fingers, what the heck is the point of having a so called news service in the first place, let alone a staff of 6/700?
Damn right, and a couple or three minutes of news!
