I’m always intrigued by the number of conferences that take place pertaining to marketing and advertising. They usually take place in some exotic location with lots of golf, tennis and other diversions to relieve the stress of overworked CEO’s after they have given their fifteen minute presentation. But the thing that always amazes me is how much it costs to attend these things. I’ve posted in the past about some of the AdAge bashes that run three or four hundred dollars for a three or four hour do. But today, I got one from AlwaysOn, which is a media, new technology, digital, show biz, whatever. To be honest, I’m not sure what it is. Anyway, they are hosting something called “AO Hollywood 07 – The Digital Media and Entertainment Market for Executives.” At the Hotel Roosevelt in ![]()
For an extra $5,000 we'll
throw in one of these

George I think we should do a conference in a big city. I want to be a high priced speaker with nothing to say. Shucks I'll teach the little suckers how to speak Okie or a little Husker Slang. Just as long as you pay me a bunch. Give me a break we don't need any more of these little drunken parties.
