Funny to read in today’s caffeinemarketing blog that because we all know rednecks love two things; hanging out in Wal-Mart on a weekend and NASCAR, it would make so much sense for Bank of America to decide it would be a good idea to sponsor NASCAR and make themselves recognized as “The Official Bank of NASCAR” for the next five years. The deal will cost the bank an estimated $15 to $20 million over the course of the sponsorship, and will feature numerous spots throughout broadcasting, on the track, in the stands, and in media coverage. Bank of America is also the official bank of Major League Baseball. George from a guy who plays in the world of race cars,NASCAR is an interesting animal. All over television and radio on race day every race day. Now try to buy a ticket for a single race, you can't. You have to buy the entire weekend and you will have to go see your banker to pay for it.
