There's a great post over at one of my favorite sites... psfk.com about how USB has migrated from not just being that socket on your computer/laptop where you plug in drives and memory devices, it has now become a power source. You can now plug in retro lava lamps, rechargeable batteries for your flashlight, a flashing/pulsating X-Mas tree, a noodle strainer, and even a min vacuum cleaner to alleviate some of that desk top squalor you seem to revel in, particularly if you're straining noodles!
