Advertising, ad campaigns, ad agencies, and the people that make it happen

There was a piece in yesterday’s New York Times about how some college presidents are jumping on the blogging band wagon, and why not? Every other person in the Universe is. But what really amused me was the picture that accompanied the article showing Patricia A. McGuire, the president of Trinity University in Washington, D.C., using her blog to talk about issues of the day, like same-sex unions. I mean, get a load of that work area! I hope she runs the college better than she organizes her desk. No wonder she seems to be working on the world’s smallest laptop, there isn’t much room for anything else. I’m also wondering if she’s on the phone, or does she have a really bad toothache? She's probably got an MBA!
