OK, first of all, I think that 90% of the people with cell phones should only be allowed to use them for really important or emergency calls. They should also be banned from using them in moving vehicles. There should be no free minutes… Minutes should cost ten dollars each. And yes, I have a cell phone, I use it when I need it… to make phone calls, then I switch it off. So, imagine my horror to read that Verizon is about to launch 24 channels of cable TV on their phone network… To which I have to say why… It’s bad enough that people want to use a phone to take pictures or download pop music and MTV videos… But thirty minutes of some mindless reality show that you look at on a postage stamp sized screen and listen to on a speaker the size of an aspirin… That’s stupid. But what do I know? It’ll probably be a huge success, proving that people are really dumb! Standing by for the hate mail!
