As a fan of beer that tastes like beer, rather than all those anemic “light Beers” which are primarily water, I was appalled to read that Anheuser-Busch has just announced the launch of Redbridge, the first nationally available SORGHUM beer! I mean it’s bad enough that Budweiser is made from RICE and tastes like lemonade… And that’s the so-called full strength version… But SORGHUM! There’s no excuse. Even when they claim Sorghum is a safe grain for those with wheat allergies, so they’ll market this swill as an alternative for those who choose wheat-free or gluten-free diets. All I can say is if you are unfortunate to have some wheat allergy, you can always drink regular Bud… As I say, there’s no wheat in it. That’s why it tastes so awful. Personally, I’ll stick to wine, and gin, and whisky, and vodka, and rum, and tequila, and schnapps, and… I think you get the idea!

My thoughts on sorghum beer, exactly!
