ESPN goes for the Pulitzer... Or the Nobel... Or the Booker. Hey... Why not the Triple Crown?

Loved the piece in today's Wall Street Journal about how ESPN is going into the book publishing business, apparently aiming for that highly prized demographic, young men aged 18 to 34, who according to all the pundits have billions of dollars of disposable income they are just itching to spend on everything from Ferraris to Tiffany diamonds. Strange, I never thought you could earn that much money flipping burgers at McDonalds. Anyway, I wish them luck. Based on all the ESPN programming I’ve ever seen, and the level of erudition expressed by all the ex-jock announcersthey employ, they’d better make sure they stick to comic books and the bubble captions consist of words of no more than two syllables.
