FOX gets funny... Well, maybe!

It would seem like the “Wizard of Oz” (Rupert Murdoch) wants it all. First the news that Fox is going to introduce a “Business News” channel, and now the announcement that it’s going into comedy. It would seem that Fox News is starting up a comedy-political show with the thought-provoking title "The ½ Hour News Hour!" Supposedly it's their version of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report," but, with a conservative bent. And I always thought they had conservative comedy covered with Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity. What people like this fail to understand is that even so-called Liberal propagandists like "The Daily Show" and "Colbert Report" take no prisoners on both sides of the aisle -- Bush and Clinton, Gore and Cheney. Even "Saturday Night Live" takes swipes in all directions. Based on the pilot that’s been bouncing around YouTube for the last few days with the particularly mean spirited dig at Barack Obama and his so-called magazine “B.O” I shouldn’t think Jon Stewart and Colbert are losing to much sleep over this “surge” from the “Fair and Balanced” channel.
