Once again, it was funny to read the recent remarks of the second biggest ego in Silicon Valley (The first being the “Samurai of Redwood Shores – Which as loyal readers will know is my term of endearment for Uber-Millionaire, Oracle CEO, Larry Ellison) "I believe that what is wrong with our schools in this nation is they have become unionized in the worst possible way. This unionization and lifetime employment of K-12 teachers is off-the-charts crazy.” O.K, please explained ... What kind of person could you get to run a small business if you told them that when they came in they couldn't get rid of people that they thought weren't any good? Not really great ones because if you're really smart you go, I can't win. " In case you haven’t quite grasped it yet, these are the remarks of “El-Ego-Del- Jobo.” Otherwise known as Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, who was speaking to an education reform conference in Texas just before he was tackled and dragged off by members of Apple's education sales unit, because they’re smart enough to recognize that after all these years, a substantial portion of Apples income and profits still comes from the educational market. And who’s buying all those Macs? That’s right… Teachers!
