
Oh dear. Following on from my post of yesterday about the cracking of the Nike dyke at Weiden & Kennedy, news today that Michael Folino, the lead creative director on Nike at W + K, said he parted with the agency on Friday, the same day the client informed Wieden it would look beyond the shop for ideas on its running shoe business. People at both the agency and the client are staying tight-lipped about this new development. Folino’s tenure was brief and apparently, none too happy.
